One of the special applications
of our PLC system is the control of buses and special vehicles.
The software development
environment (project manager, editor, compiler debugger) - due to
the general principles, mentioned at controls - is the same as the
PLC development system.
Whereas the hardware
conforms to the special needs of vehicles (temperature, vibration,
EMC).
The communication is
compatible with the SAE 1939 that is based on the CAN protocol,
which is standard in automotive industry.
We can offer three architectures:
1. Large systems with
CPU

Logic program is running
in the CPU while Nodes can contain local programs which run when
the CPU is off. (e.g. opening the front door when the bus is empty).
2. Networking nodes
without CPU

In case of maximum 3
Nodes CPU is needless. One of the Nodes fills the part of CPU.
Local program in Nodes
is allowable.
3. Stand alone node
control
In most cases a single
Node may be enough for the I/O-s present in a vehicle.
The specifications of
the hardware units produced to date are as follows:
- CPU
- Vehicle node
